Nestled in a magical forest overlooking the river, this home was created with the vision of a peaceful refuge immersed in nature. The clean architectural lines and large windows create the feeling of perfect integration between the interior and exterior.
The platform that the living area faces has been completed with the addition of Velvet Plus, the Gibus bioclimatic pergola characterized by adjustable, retractable slats and integrated side closures made of shading technical fabric.
The pergola, custom-made to meet the client’s needs, was designed to embrace the outdoor living area, where she can relax reading a book or take a small summer nap, and a dining area, where she can host numerous dinners with family and friends.
The adjustable and retractable blades of Velvet Plus perfectly manage sun shading throughout the day, providing shelter when needed while also expanding the view to the sky. LED lighting on the blades and around the perimeter of the pergola allows for evening use, creating different atmospheres thanks to the dimming function of the LEDs. The side screens are integrated into the structure, disappearing when not needed, and ensuring an optimal temperature inside the pergola by blocking sunlight.
